Our Sonoma County Cabernet has concentrated ruby red color and is bright to the rim. The complexity shows well in the nose with black cherry, cassis, black licorice and black plum and a crushed violet aroma. Fresh, bright fruit follows in the mouth and it is very balanced between acidity and fruit. Well integrated fine tannins. Red fruit mid-palate with no missing pieces. This very smooth Cabernet will go well with grilled or roasted meats and poultry. It’s also an excellent sipping wine.
The rugged northern reaches of Sonoma County are
recognized as one of the premier growing regions for
Bordeaux varietals. The warmer inland temperatures of
this mountainous region in northern Sonoma County
are cooled at night by the cold maritime air that flows
from the coast up the Russian River Valley. The mountain
ridges provide shallow and rocky soils that add
impressive depth and concentration to the flavor and
intensity of our 2008 Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hand harvested grapes were picked over a two week
span in mid-October. The harvest of 2008 provided
full development at ripeness levels ideal for preserving
varietal accuracy and structure. Whole berries were
fermented in tanks before pressing and then moved to
barrels for malolactic fermentation. The wine was
barrel aged a full 24 months in French oak. The Cabernet
Sauvignon was blended with 5% Petite Sirah, enhancing
both the aromatics and the flavor profile. A powerful
wine with great finesse.

Please send your wine to a home or business address where an individual at least 21 years of age is available during regular business hours to sign. By law all alcohol orders require an adult signature for delivery. UPS or Fedex will make up to 3 delivery attempts.
Ground Shipping
Depending upon your state, delivery is 3-14 business days. All custom labeled wine orders are hand-labeled and typically take up to two to three business days to process from the date the order was placed.
