2008 Syrah, Occidental Road
The 2008 Syrah is a powerful wine that is displaying complexity and a distinct richness of fruit. The aromatic profile is ripe blackberry and black cherry that combines with licorice and spice. There are soft vanilla toasty notes as well. The flavor profile is lush blackberry spicy cassis, and bittersweet chocolate. The tannins are well developed and remain soft and well integrated. The wine is balanced beautifully by bright acidity which guarantees it to be a great food wine! This Syrah will continue to develop nicely over the next 5-years and then progress more slowly for 10-years beyond.

2009 Pinot Noir, Freestone Hills
The 2009 Freestone Hills captures the unique character of this exceptional vintage while showcasing the purity of the Pinot Noir varietal along with the unique elements of all 3 vineyards. The diverse range of Dijon Clones plus the Pommard have added an extra level of complexity and showcases the unique Freestone growing area. Each vineyard has indeed brought its own personality to this wine. Dark black cherry and ripe rich black raspberry are framed by elegant spice and forest floor scented aromatics. The palate offers a range of red and black fruits plus pomegranate with just the right amount of tannin and acidity to carry all the fruit. The finish is long and luxurious and will develop much further with the needed time in bottle.

2009 Chardonnay, Gold Ridge Hills
The aromatics are highlighted by a diverse range of both citrus and tropical fruits with traces of fresh green apple. Toast and spice components are in the early stages of reaching full integration. There are emerging elements of a crème brûlée richness on the palate surrounded by a silky acid matrix. It is showing zesty lemon and fresh pear with a center core of tropical fruit and green apple. The aging potential for this wine should be exceptional given the bright acidity and complex fruit profile. This wine will evolve dramatically over the next 6 to 12 months and then continue to evolve at a slower rate for 4 to 6 years.

2010 Sauvignon Blanc, Laguna Vista Vineyards
The two distinct clones deliver a dramatic and complex flavor profile. Clone 1 provides the traditional profile of citrus and lends to the high acidity. The Sauvignon Musque provides depth and shows in the range of pear, fig, and pineapple while adding a rich tropical profile. The sur lees treatment is very evident and felt on the palate as a creamy trait with a presence of minerality. The stainless lot adds freshness, varietal accuracy and the all important bright acidity. This wine is an ideal aperitif wine as well as a delicious companion to food including fresh or grilled fish and seafood, particularly oysters, crab, and lobster along with grilled or broiled chicken dishes and a wide range of cheeses. There is a highly fragrant and pretty youthfulness showing in the first 30 days since bottling and this wine will develop much further in the coming months and for years beyond as the fruit profile marries with the distinctive characteristics of terroir and diverse winemaking techniques. Our inspiration is driven by the unique fruit and the opportunity to marry both old and new world winemaking practices which result in a truly distinctive wine.

Please send your wine to a home or business address where an individual at least 21 years of age is available during regular business hours to sign. By law all alcohol orders require an adult signature for delivery. UPS or Fedex will make up to 3 delivery attempts.
Ground Shipping
Depending upon your state, delivery is 3-14 business days. All custom labeled wine orders are hand-labeled and typically take up to two to three business days to process from the date the order was placed.
