As an artist, Ken captures the moment as he brings the viewer deep into his paintings by delivering dimension and realism through his use of color, light, shadow and reflection. Often viewers can be caught trying to reach into his paintings, which almost appear three-dimensional. His work evolves around his travels as his stated philosophy is, "I paint the moments and experiences of the places I love and I love painting those places and experiences. I find as I create my visions on canvas, I drift back to those moments in time as I convey those feelings in my paintings. It truly is rewarding when a viewer expresses the feeling of being there, both from the viewer who has been there and especially from those who have not."
