Monterey Wine Competition
March 5-6, 2005

Following are the results of this year's Monterey Wine Competition held March 5-6, 2005. All wines are tasted blind and judged solely on the merits of what's in the bottle, not what's on the label or by the retail price. This competition takes place in conjunction with the Salinas Valley Fair. Our “Gold Medal Sweepstake Cabernet” will be poured at the Grand Tasting on the opening night of the Fair, May 12th.

 

We entered 18 wines and received 16 medals, (a 88.9% take):
