New World International Wine Competition

Following are the results of this year's New World International Wine Competition held March 18-19, 2007. Over 2,100 wines were judged; only 302 wines won a Gold Medal, Best of Class or Best of Variety award. The competition was open to wines produced in the "New World," including all of North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. All entries were divided into categories by price, wine type and sweetness level before being evaluated blind (without labels showing).
We entered 19-wines and received 10-medals, (a 52.63% take):
1-Gold/Best of Class, 3-Gold; 3-Silver and 3-Bronze Medals
