We normally ship by UPS or other private carriers. For an accurate shipping estimate, add your items to the cart, and use the shipping rate calculator to enter your ship location.

States that have special shipping laws for alcoholic beverages can take longer. Please allow additional delivery time for AZ, DC, IL, MA, MI, and NJ.

Why can't you ship to all 50 states?
Since the repeal of prohibition, the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages have been regulated by individual states. Each state has its own laws. Rarely do they coincide, and even more rarely do they allow an out-of-state company to sell wine without maintaining a license and inventory in their state. We have not been able to find a way to ship Windsor wines with the same personal attention, quality control and attractive pricing through normal distribution networks.

How can I pay for my wine?
We accept all major credit cards and personal checks. If you would like to pay by personal check, please call 800-289-9463 to place your order.

I created a custom label before Sept 20th, 2012 and now I can’t find it?

We've made a substantial upgrade to our labelmaker and the new features are not compatible with the old labels. We encourage you to check out our new label maker and our expanded selection of labels. But don’t worry, we still have your original labels on file, too!  Please call us at 800-289-9463 and we would be happy to process your order.

Why does some of the text on my label appear sideways?

When you are previewing your label, the wine information (displayed in black) will appear sideways to fit conveniently on the label without taking up too much space. You do not need to rotate your artwork, photo, etc. Everything inside of the black panels should appear (and will print) upright. Please see below for an example of what your content direction should look like.

Are the labels waterproof?

Most of our custom labels use a gloss-coated paper and are water resistant, however they are not waterproof. Any prolonged exposure to water or ice will cause damage. If you plan to leave submerged in ice or expose to water, we suggest the following:

  • Every bottle is enclosed in a plastic sleeve when shipping. Leave this sleeve on the wine as long as possible before serving.
  • When placing in ice, position so that the back half of the bottle is being submerged and the front label is not in contact.
  • Opt for a wine cooler or store in fridge to cool, rather than in ice.

I have an old bottle of Windsor wine…is it valuable?
Unfortunately in most cases, old wines are past their prime. Most Windsor Vineyards wines were produced for eminent drinkability and never intended for aging. As Windsor Vineyards wines were never sold retail, there is no monetary value for old Windsor wines.

If you see sediment in any of our wines, do not be alarmed, it is still safe and harmless. Sediment is a natural byproduct of winemaking and is not a damaged bottle.

Does your wine contain sulfites?
The term "contains sulfites" refers to the use of sulfur dioxide (SO2) employed as both a preservative and disinfectant in winemaking. SO2 is added in very low concentrations and without it the stability of wine could be jeopardized. Sweet wines need more SO2 than drier wines in order to inhibit possible bottle fermentation. It is virtually impossible to have SO2 free wine, as this naturally occurring chemical is one of the by-products of fermentation, including that which takes place in the making of bread and fruit juice.

What is your best wine?
There is no single answer for such a subjective question. Many of our wines have been awarded gold medals in a variety of categories. Windsor produces three levels of wine. Our Platinum Series is our ultra-premium product line, our Private Reserve wines are super premium, and Classic wines are considered premium. This is determined by a number of factors, including grape sources, barrel treatments and wine complexity, among others. All three tiers of wine are made by the same state-of-the-art facility, and all are high-quality enjoyable wines. Because ultimately, we feel that a good wine is the one you like to drink, we encourage you to taste wines from all of our tiers, and judge for yourself!

When should I drink my wine?
This schedule provides a rule of thumb for aging, counting from the vintage date of the wine. Remember, if properly stored, in a cool, dry place at a slight angle neck down just enough so the wine is touching the cork, some wines may keep longer. If you purchase wine with the intent of cellaring it, be sure to taste it periodically to see if it is improving to your satisfaction… wine is a living, changing, product in the bottle, and besides, it gives you an excuse to taste!
